CONTEST & PROMOS
- WHERE CAN I SEE MY CURRENT AND PAST CONTESTS?
1) Click ‘CONTEST & PROMOS’ on the left navigation panel
- Current Contests – shows ongoing program
- Past Contests – shows previous rewards
2) Click ‘REFRESH LEADS GENERATED’ at the top right to get an updated report
3) Select from the list of rewards and click the eyeball (‘view details’) to view the program details. You can also tap the ‘SHOW CONTEST DETAILS’ button at the top-right to see additional details.
B. HOW DO I CREATE NEW CONTEST/PROMO?
NOTE: You can create more than one contest/promo during the same period of time, and choose different activity and program types for each.
1) Click ‘CONTEST & PROMOS’ on the left navigation panel
2) Click ‘Current Contests’
3) Click the ‘Create Contest/Promo’ button at the top-right
4) On the next window, select from the drop-down list which type of Activity you’d want to incentivize.
- ACTIVITY TYPE:
- All Engagements – A new unique contact needs to engage (click the link) with the content you send to be counted. Engagement can be done by:
- 1) Opting-in to a campaign,
- 2) Clicking a resource link or,
- 3) Tapping RSVP for an event.
- Specific Resource(s) – A new unique contact needs to view resources you send to be counted.
- Specific Campaign(s) – A contact that has never opted-in to a campaign needs to opt-in to be counted.
- Event RSVPs – A contact needs to RSVP for an event to be counted
- All Engagements – A new unique contact needs to engage (click the link) with the content you send to be counted. Engagement can be done by:
5) Choose among the different program types below:
- PROGRAM TYPE:
- 5.a. Top X Users Qualify (also known as the “Leaderboard”) – This is the most popular and commonly used of all our contest/promo programs. A Leaderboard contest shows a running list of the top users during the contest, with their current rank and the number of qualified engagement they have made.
- 5.b. Top % Users Qualify – User earns an award by being within the ‘X’ percent of Top performers in the contest. For example, Top 20% will win a Free ticket to the annual conference in June.
- 5.c. Achieve Goal to Qualify – User wins the contest by hitting a particular number of leads.
- 5.d. Award Per Qualifying Activity – User earns an award for each lead generated during the program. This is usually a monetary value per lead. For example, if the award is $2.00 and the user has generated 3 leads, the total award for that user will be $6.00.
- 5.e. Award after Initial Activity – There is no end date for this program type. When the user generates X number of leads, the user earns the award. An email is automatically sent to the user when X generated leads are achieved.
6) Fill out the form with the following information. See table below to know the information needed for different program types.

Here’s an example of a Leaderboard (Top X User Qualify) contest that only counts engagement for specific resource(s).

- Reward Description (Mechanics and Prize): Top 10 users with most number of engagement made on the following Opportunity resources will win a FREE sample of our NEW Products plus $100 each. Title of Opportunity resources to be tracked: 1) Opportunity Sign Up, 2) Opportunity Testimonial, and 3) Opportunity Testimonial #2. Prospect should watch 45% of the video to be counted as lead/engagement.
- Email results to superwidgets@mailinator.com at the end of the contest
Here’s how to create the contest from the back office:
NOTE:
1) On the Assign To Group, you can only assign the contest under the group/s you manage.
2) For Email Results To: You can only send the results to the email address used by the user on their App

C. HOW DO I EDIT A CONTEST/PROMO?
NOTE: You can only edit ongoing Contest under the group code you are managing.
1) Click ‘CONTEST & PROMOS’ on the left navigation panel
2) Click ‘Current Contests’
3) Select ‘View/Edit’ (pen & paper icon)
4) All contest details will show on the next window. Edit the info as needed.
5) Click ‘Save’
D. HOW DO I VIEW CONTEST/PROMO WINNERS?
- You can view current and past contest results from the 1) back office or via 2) email
D.1. HOW DO I VIEW CONTEST RESULTS FROM THE BACK OFFICE?
1) Click ‘CONTEST & PROMOS’ on the left navigation panel
2) Click ‘Current Contests’ or ‘Past Contests’
3) Select from the list of contests and click the results icon found under the action column.
4) The next window shows a list of all users and their total number of engagement. Click the ‘EXPORT AS CSV’ button if you wish to download a copy of the results
D.2. HOW CAN I RECEIVE CONTEST RESULTS VIA EMAIL ?
- When creating new contest, you may send the results to yourself or to any user on your account by adding the email address in the Email Results To* field.
- You can add one or more recipients
- Results can be sent on a Daily or Weekly basis, or once the contest got completed. Simply select from the dropdown options found on the Frequency field.
