RESOURCES

  1. HOW DO I UPLOAD RESOURCES?

1) Click ‘RESOURCES’ on the left navigation panel

2) Select the ‘Add Resource‘ button

3) Fill out all the information needed on the ‘Add Resource’ window (see screenshots for more details):

WINDOW 1:

  • Resource Title This is the name that will show on the App. Choose a short, easily identifiable name. Example: “Company Overview”
  • Internal Description – This text appears when you click on the Resource name in the App. This shows the user a brief description of the resource. Example: “Use this overview from our CEO to show prospects the history of trust behind our company”
  • External DescriptionThis is a short description that quickly explains the content externally to the public. Example: “Our CEO shares an exciting overview of the company’s history”)
  • Resource Type – select the type of content to be uploaded from the drop down list. You can upload a PDF, PowerPoint, Word doc, (website) link, video, audio, or a custom page
  • Resource Category – from the drop down list, choose which category you’d like your  resource to be grouped under. Examples: “Product”, “Opportunity”, “In The News”, “Success Stories”)

WINDOW 2:

  • Default email – This is the pre-written message that appears when resource is sent via email. 
  • Default text – This is the pre-written message that appears when resource is sent via text or shared on social media.
  • NOTE:
    1) You can personalize the message that goes out in every resource.
    2) You can use the formatting tools and add different Content Placeholders to help create the email. 

WINDOW 3:

  • Groups – select which group code the resource should be added under
  • Default Status in App – choose if you want the resource to show within the App (Show) or not (Hide).
  • Override for Existing Users – always check this box to override all existing user’s set preference for this resource.
  • Status* – select if you want the resource to be available to users (Active) or not (Inactive).
  • Specific Date Range? – click the box if you want the resource to be available only for a specific period of time. This is best used for any content that changes on a regular basis. Choose the Start & End date (when you’d want the resource to be available on the App). Then, select if you want the resource to be inactive on the App (Deactivate), or completely deleted (Delete) from the system, after the end date.

WINDOW 4:

  • If you are uploading a PDF, PowerPoint, or Word doc – simply upload the file and click ‘Save’
  • If video – select ‘Upload Video’ and hit save once video is uploaded. (Note: Remove any special characters [%, !, &, etc.] on the video file name to prevent errors)

  1. HOW DO I EDIT RESOURCES?

1) Click ‘RESOURCES’ on the left navigation panel

2) Select the resource you’d like to edit from the list

3) Click the ‘View/Edit’ (pen and paper) button under the Action column

4) The ‘Edit Resource’ page will come up 

5) Edit the details as needed 

6) Click ‘Save’

  1. HOW DO I DUPLICATE RESOURCES?

1) Click ‘RESOURCES’ on the left navigation panel

2) Select the resource you’d like to duplicate from the list

3) Click the ‘Duplicate’ button under the Action column

4) The ‘Add Resource – Duplicate’ page will come up

5) You’ll notice that the word ‘DUPLICATE’ gets automatically added at the beginning of the resource title; change the title as desired

6) Edit the details 

7) Click ‘Save’

  1. HOW DO I KNOW IF A RESOURCE IS BEING USED IN AN EMAIL CAMPAIGN?

1) Click ‘RESOURCES’ on the left navigation panel

2) Go to the Action column at right, and check for the ‘eyeball’ icon. The ‘eyeball’ icon means that the resource is currently being used in a campaign.

3) By clicking the eyeball (Show Usage) icon you can see which campaign and which email is using the resource. Note: The same resource can be used in multiple campaigns.

  1. HOW DO I VIEW RESOURCE STATISTICS?

1) Click ‘RESOURCES’ on the left navigation panel

2) Select the ‘Stats View’

3) Click ‘Refresh’ to show the latest results

4) The page will show you the following statistics:

  • Number of resources Sent From Web
  • Number of resources Sent From Mobile
  • Number of resources that have been Accessed/Viewed
  • Number of Forms Completed In Capture Page
